The WHO organizes the day with clean hands Mission slogan: "Hands disinfected = prevented risk."
Day to which France will participate for the 3rd consecutive year.
On this occasion various health institutions are invited to participate in this campaign and implement within their structure the various activities of sensitization and promotion of hand hygiene. This is for both professionals and users (training facility, elderly home, care center ..) especially in the context of the use of alcohol-based disinfectants.
Hand hygiene plays an important role in the prevention of nosocomial infections: the implementation of prevention and management can better control the epidemic and improve the control thereof.
The reporting of nosocomial infections can identify regular outbreaks in which control is based on the method of prevention: hand hygiene, gloves, equipment (cleaning and disinfection of equipment between each patient)
