Let me say a few words about our history.
I created Cleanis in 2001 in order to develop the invention of a French physician, my father,Doctor Mayer Helewa.
Throughout his career in hospitals, he understood that bedpans constituted a major potential medium of contamination as bedpans imply unsafe handlings.

In light of those observations, he looked for a device avoiding bedpans soiling rather than trying to clean and to decontaminate it. Indeed this process is often long, expensive and sometimes risky.
His research led him to add a pad impregnated with super-absorbent crystals to a bag fitting to the bedpan format. He eventually invented and patented the first Care Bag®hygienic bag.

Encouraged by the several awards* he received and since the testers’ panel warmly welcomed the product, we launched the industrial production in France. Then we diversified our offer, always sticking to our values: to innovate for hygiene and security for everyone while being concerned about savings and care conditions maximization.
Since then, millions of users and professionals in more than 60 countries have trusted Cleanis, an ISO9001-certified company.
